Calling all Harry Potter fans!
From 21st – 27th March, Smithfield will host the stunning Wizarding World Wand installation.
The installation consists of nine 15ft-tall wands representing nine of your favourite characters from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films. It will tour the UK in celebration of the release of J.K Rowling’s newest wizarding adventure, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, in cinemas on 8th April 2022.
We’re thrilled that such a fantastic event is coming to Smithfield.
Wizarding World Wands will visit 4 UK cities, all voted for by the public. In order of the most votes, the tour will begin from 2nd – 8th March in Hull, followed by a visit to Birmingham between 11th – 17th March, before landing at Smithfield from 21st – 27th March and then finishing in Reading 30th March – 5th April. Each city will host the exciting installation over 7 magical days, so there is plenty of time to get down and enjoy what will be a truly enchanting experience.
The dazzling 15ft-tall wands set within concrete bases will illuminate each evening, performing a light show to the thrilling music from the Fantastic Beasts and Harry Potter films. It will provide the public with a unique and unforgettable evening where they can witness their beloved characters brought to life.
This is such an exciting event that will definitely get you ready and raring to watch Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore when it is released in cinemas on 8th April.
