We are excited to be partnering up with an incredible Holistic Wellness Coach, Gabriella, to host a jam packed Wednesday full of sessions to improve your mental and physical wellbeing.
If you’re a staff member anywhere on the Smithfield site, join us on Wednesday 18th May as we showcase how you can use short break times and wellness techniques to boost your health and happiness.
There are plenty of activities listed below, but first, meet your coach…
Meet Gabriella
Gabriella has been a yoga instructor and holistic wellness instructor for nine years. Following her 200 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training with SAMYAK YOGA in India back in 2013, Gabriella went on to study with the New York Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She has since been leading yoga, meditation and nutrition sessions in-person and online, and specialises in feminine empowerment.

Yoga and Meditation (8am – 9am)
Perfect for beginners and more seasoned yogis alike, this session is rooted in traditional Hatha yoga. At a gentle pace, you will be guided through a variety of deep stretches, strength-boosting exercises and breathing techniques in order to achieve ultimate relaxation at the end of class.
Notes: Please wear clothes which are comfortable for stretching in and bring your own yoga mat to the session.
Be sure to consult your medical professional before practicing, make the instructor aware of any injuries or ongoing health conditions, and remember that you are always your body’s best teacher so take breaks as-and-when you need to.

Luxury Moments of Mindfulness – Learn how to relax your mind (12pm – 1pm)
Mindfully Achieving A Work-Life Balance: during this session, you will be guided through a variety of mindfulness techniques and journaling prompts in order to learn how to manage stress, boost energy levels, sleep better, connect more deeply with loved ones and enjoy making healthier life choices. Be sure to bring a notepad and pen along to the session for the writing exercises.
Join us for a unique opportunity to find out more about mindfulness and why many people today make it their daily habit, and see it as the ultimate tool to help them achieve true fulfillment.
30 Minute Fitness Blast (5pm – 5:30pm)
Created for all levels of fitness and experience, join our amazing trainer who will introduce you to a group training session.

Holistic Wellness Clinic
Stress, physical aches and pains, sleep struggles, under- or over-eating and low mood have become part and parcel of the world we live in these days, but it doesn’t have to be this way.
If you are going through some general wellness challenges, or would like to move towards a specific wellness goal, and are interested in exploring holistic methods, drop into the Wellness Clinic.
During your 15-30 minute appointment, you will be ‘prescribed’ a bespoke collection of mini-practices, tools and resources to kickstart your journey!
